- Re-Dressing Injustice: The Women of Juarez -
- August 29 2008 - September 30 2008
This exhibit will provide updated news and facts about the Juarez femicides. Dresses that were creatively altered by community members across the Southwest will be displayed along with five years of photographs documenting the project. Re-Dressing Injustice was installed for the first time at ASU West in April 2003. Exhibit will be on display on the second and third floor of Fletcher Library.
- Crime, Justice, and the Border -
- March 01 2009 - April 04 2009
The Border Justice Committee, along with CALACA, a local Latino artist group, and the Community Arts Coalition, will display paintings, photographs, and other 2-D media to draw attention to issues of crime, justice, and the border. A more specific description will be available as the event nears. Artwork will be on display on the second floor of Fletcher Library.
- Washington Elementary School District Art Show -
- March 06 2009 - March 17 2009
A display of artwork from students K-8 grade selected from our 32 schools in the Washington School District. Artwork will be displayed on the third floor of Fletcher Library.
